32nd Sanicole Airshow

On the 20th of July 2008, the 32nd Sanicole Airshow was held at the base of Airoclub Sanicole in Hechtel, Belgium.

At least 25,000 visitors were present at the 32nd international airshow. This enthousiastic crowd didn’t mind at all the bad weather which is really not an ideal one for an airshow. But in spite of this weather all participants who were on the program list were able to fly and display their stunts and flying skills to the delight of their audience.

This is for sure the best organized “Airshow” that Belgium has which for already 32 years is becoming a tradition here. The number of visitors increases every year making it an annual record breaking airshow spectacle.

On the program were some very nice airplanes from different countries:

Belgium: F16, Seaking, Agusta A-109, Alouette III, Siai Marchetti, Xtra 300, Piper Warrior
Czech Republic: Saab J-39 Gripen, L-159 Alca
France: Mirage 2000
Spain: Mirage F-1
England: Hawk 2000, Tutor, Tucano, Folland Gnat Mk1, Jet Provost MK 5
Jordan: Xtra 300-P (Royal Jordanian Falcons)
Turkey: Purple Violet
USA: B1-B Lancer
Romania: Yakovlev Yak 52 TW (Icarii Acrobati)
Italy: Pioneer 300 (Pioneer team)
France: Douglas DC 3 “Dakota”, L-39 Albatros (Breitling Jet Team)

The 33rd international Sanicole Airshow will be held on the 20th of September 2009.
And as usual it is expected to be an exceptional and spectacular airshow, hopefully with good weather. So mark it down in your agenda and don’t miss it!!!!
