IPA
Platinum annual members receive a FREE IPA Email account
for the term of their membership. Gold IPA members do not
qualify for an IPA email account unless they upgrade their
membership level to a Platinum
membership at a cost of $50 for the remainder of their
one year membership term.
We offer a
POP3 email account which is the same as most ISP providers
do when you sign up for their internet services. Having an
IPA email account strengthens your credibility when seeking
media access.
A POP3
Email Account is a primary
email account and offers many
benefits. You will have the ability to
send and receive emails from our mail server using this account.
This will assure you of rock solid email capabilty and an
additional email account using "yourname@internationalpress.com
as your address. Anyone receiving emails from this account
will see your IPA email address as the "From" and "Reply
To" address.
To set up of a POP3 email
account is easy and you will be sent the information to add
this "Account" to your current email
program. You can pick up or send emails from a web browser
or from most email programs.
AOL users must use another email program to send and receive
emails from this account. You will need an email program
like Outlook or one of the many email programs available.
We like
Thunderbird which
is a great email client available free (along with Firefox
Mozilla's new powerful internet browser) at Mozilla.Org.
Visit their site, we are sure you will be pleased using their
free PC or Mac software. Remember, you will also be able
to send or receive emails from any web browser, which is
especially useful when using public computers or when you
travel.
It is understood that your IPA Email account will remain
active on current, paid Platinum members and may
be deleted, without warning, on all expired or non-renewed
memberships.
