Gaining media access to events can be tricky and depends on a number of factors. First, ask yourself if the event is a major one that will receive tons of press coverage (and will therefore be more difficult to gain access), or is a lesser-known event that will welcome the publicity and coverage?

I think the first order of business for IPA members to take to heart, is the importance of having a well-developed Member Profile.
